PAUL ROTHAFEL GUITAR/VOCALS
Paul is not one but many voices of the 60’s you will hear when you see
the Fake Four perform. Not only does he love
playing the role of John Lennon with the Fake Four Showband, he just
happens to sound and look like the great man
himself.
No matter what city or venue they perform in, everyone who goes to watch
the band they always call him the Beatle. Paul first started
impersonating John way back in 1991, when he was in his last year of
high school, being the class clown and starting his first Beatle band
with some school mates.
Based in Newcastle he put together and played in a few 60’s bands and one
he played in at the time is where he first
met Andrew Hill, who was the Paul McCartney and producer of the
Australian Beatles show and Sixtiesmania, a group
back then that toured all over the world. |

JOHN
MCFADYEN BASS/ VOCALS.
Over the past 20 years John has played everywhere from
Lochinvar to Las Vegas and most everywhere in between, playing the
prestigious
Calgary Stampede and many festivals, county fairs and casinos across the
USA, Canada and all over Asia, supporting such artist as The Everly Bros, Steppenwolf,
Bachman Turner Overdrive, Burton Cummings
(The Guess Who), BJ Thomas, Johnny Rivers, Alana Miles, Lover Boy, Chubby Checker, The
Romantics, we even played with the Village People.
Some of the bands John has played with include 60's mania Showband, The
Fab Four, The Stones Downunder,
The Australian Beatles Show, The Beatnix, Beatle Magic, The Elvis Experience, The Swingin' Sixties, The British Invasion,
The Buddy Holly Show, Al James "The Voice of Neil Diamond" and "Imagine
That" The John Lennon Show to name a few. |

Drums / Vocals
Mat has been
involved in the Newcastle music scene for many years, playing in many
top line bands, Mat's dynamic drumming and great vocal range makes him
one of the most sort after drummers in town. |

Pete's guitar skills are second to none,
his ability to recreate the guitar licks and sounds is a huge bonus and
his stage presence is one of his many features. |
